Welcome to the website of Mr. Igor Solomko, a young expert in the art of embroidery. Igor specialises in creating embroidered representation of Russian religious icons and this website contains many of his works in the in the album

 

   Besides icons Igor has also produced a variety of embroidered art works during several years of hard work. These include embroidered towels, napkins, tapestries, etc.

   Most of embroidered works are cross-stitched. Some works are done using other embroidery techniques. Different cross-stitched techniques and templates are presented on this website which can be used by everyone who would like to know this hard, but ultimately beautiful art of embroidery. Igor held his first successful personal exhibition in Kiev on the territory of Kiev-Pechersk Church in January 2001.
